Compliance training people finish. Records that prove understanding
tapybl turns policy documents into microreels with questions and acknowledgements built in, so your compliance record shows a score on the questions instead of “video played to the end”.

The problem with compliance training
Compliance training earned its reputation. Long modules, generic scenarios, a progress bar people learn to game, and a report that measures playback. When something goes wrong and the regulator asks what staff were taught, “they watched it” is a thin answer, and everyone in the room knows the module was designed to be clicked through, because it was assigned to be clicked through. The record and the reality have drifted apart.
How tapybl works for compliance
- Each policy or regulatory requirement becomes its own short microreel, replacing the annual monolith
- Questions throughout mean completion requires correct answers; acknowledgements capture formal agreement
- The record per person shows completion status and score for every policy: the substance a regulator or auditor asks about
- Updates to a policy are republished once and completion of the new version is tracked separately from the old
The evidence
Questions during training video are not decoration. In a 2018 PLOS ONE study, workplace learners questioned roughly every minute recalled 69.7% the following day; passive viewers recalled 55.5%. A compliance programme is only as defensible as what people retained from it, and retention is the variable embedded questions can move.

FAQ
What is a microreel?
A microreel is a short, interactive video lesson built for phones — one topic, completed in a few minutes. One policy per microreel keeps each record specific.
Can records flow into our existing compliance reporting?
Yes. tapybl connects automatically with any LMS supporting LTI 1.3 or SCORM 2004, so completions appear in the system your compliance reporting already uses.
What exactly does the record show?
Per person: the status of every assigned microreel (completed, failed, in progress or not started) and the score achieved. The view is searchable and the data exports whenever an audit asks.
